I was born into a large family of six, an upbringing that instilled in me a deep understanding of family dynamics, resilience, and the importance of strong support systems. Today, I continue that legacy by nurturing a large family of my own, bringing both personal and professional insight into my work.

I am currently a Therapeutic Foster Carer, providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. My approach is rooted in empathy, consistency, and a commitment to helping each child reach their full potential. In addition to fostering, I work on the Edge of Care, supporting and mentoring families who are identified by social services as being at risk of breakdown. Through this work, I aim to empower parents and caregivers, strengthen family relationships, and help create sustainable, positive change within the home.

With a combination of lived experience and professional expertise, I am passionate about supporting vulnerable children and families, advocating for their needs, and helping them build brighter, more secure futures.
